Featuring an exceptionally compact 1.5-inch depth profile, this versatile cover provides reliable protection while cords remain plugged in, without protruding unnecessarily from exterior walls. Engineered for fast, adaptable installation, it includes a neoprene gasket, mounting screws, base, cover assembly, and inserts to accommodate multiple receptacle types in both vertical and horizontal orientations.

Manufactured from heavy-duty, UV-stabilized polycarbonate, the WP7000 series features a 100% paintable surface, allowing it to be custom-matched to any exterior color scheme. It is fully compliant with 2020 NEC Article 406.9 (B)(1) for wet locations and extra-duty applications, CEC Article 26-702, and holds cULus Certification for Type 3R outdoor enclosures. Tested to endure severe conditions, it satisfies cold-impact requirements down to -60°F (-51°C), withstands a 12 lbf. impact rating, and utilizes a reinforced hinge pin engineered to exceed 40 lbf. of stress.

Security and weather sealing are built-in: the assembly includes a 1/8" (3 mm) thick neoprene gasket with screw slits and an integrated lockable hasp accepting padlocks up to 0.19" (4.8 mm) shank diameter. The interior space accepts standard power cords up to 1x16 AWG.
