Constructed from heavy-duty, UV-stabilized polycarbonate, the WP6000 series includes a 100% paintable surface to easily match any residential or commercial building aesthetic. It complies with 2020 NEC Section 314.15 for wet locations and holds cULus Certification for Type 3R outdoor enclosures. Engineered for reliable outdoor performance, it passes extreme cold-impact testing down to -60°F (-51°C), withstands a 12 lbf. impact test, and utilizes a reinforced hinge pin for long-term reliability.

Security and environmental sealing are built into every unit: it features a 1/8" (3 mm) thick neoprene gasket with screw slots and an integrated lockable hasp accepting padlocks with up to a 0.19" (4.8 mm) shank diameter. The low-profile cavity accommodates standard cords up to 1x16 AWG.
