The PIR-BK-EZ10 is built to withstand demanding environmental conditions, featuring a heavy-duty black polycarbonate housing rated for full IP65 dust and moisture protection. Optimized for elevated placements, it supports mounting heights up to 40 feet (12 meters), projecting a wide 360° circular coverage pattern that spans up to a 50-foot (15-meter) detection radius. The sensor monitors thermal shifts caused by moving people, vehicles, or equipment, triggering an integrated LED motion indicator for easy on-site testing. To maximize ambient sunlight usage, its integrated daylight harvesting cell automatically dims or turns off the luminaire when natural light surpasses target levels, lowering overall utility costs.

Equipped with an EZ10 Twist-Lock connector base, the PIR-BK-EZ10 installs in seconds. Field crews simply align the contact pins with the fixture's exterior port, push in, and twist to establish a clean, sealed low-voltage 12-24V DC control loop without touching any interior wires. While ready to go out of the box, the sensor can be deeply customized using the optional handheld remote programmer (SEN-PROG, sold separately). This remote allows technicians to modify sensitivity levels, hold-time intervals, standby dimming thresholds, and daylight parameters safely from ground level.
