The MPL-010 Indoor Daylight Harvesting Sensor is a high-performance 24V closed-loop photosensor designed to optimize lighting efficiency in modern lighting control and building automation systems. This 2-wire daylight sensor delivers a precise 0–10V analog output signal based on ambient light levels, allowing lighting systems to automatically dim or brighten in response to available daylight.

Engineered to meet California Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1 daylight harvesting requirements, the MPL-010 is an ideal solution for energy-efficient commercial interiors. The sensor mounts easily to the ceiling using an adhesive pad and is positioned 6 to 8 feet from windows, facing downward to accurately measure reflected light from the task area (floor).

A precision Fresnel lens creates a focused 60-degree cone of reference, ensuring reliable light measurement without interference from adjacent light sources. The sensor is factory calibrated to 140 foot-candles and provides consistent performance with a fixed 7–15 second dimming response time. Powered directly from a 0–10V LED electronic ballast, this Class 2 low-voltage device can transmit its control signal up to 300 feet, making it suitable for a wide range of installations.
