The sensor mounts easily to the ceiling using an adhesive pad and is positioned 6 to 8 feet from windows, facing downward to accurately measure reflected light from the task area (floor).
A precision Fresnel lens creates a focused 60-degree cone of reference, ensuring reliable light measurement without interference from adjacent light sources. The sensor is factory calibrated to 140 foot-candles and provides consistent performance with a fixed 7–15 second dimming response time.
