Product Description

The Hooded Well Light is a durable in-ground outdoor lighting fixture designed to provide directional accent lighting with reduced glare, ideal for highlighting trees, architectural elements, pathways, and landscape features. Built from die-cast aluminum, composite, or natural brass, and available in black or natural brass finishes, this fixture delivers strength, style, and versatility for residential and commercial lighting applications.

It features a clear, tempered, and heat-resistant glass lens sealed with a silicone gasket for reliable protection against outdoor elements. The integrated hood design ensures a more controlled light output, minimizing glare and focusing illumination precisely where it is needed.

Equipped with a top-grade ceramic bi-pin socket with retention clip, the Hooded Well Light is compatible with 12V MR-16 lamps up to 50W (halogen). For energy-efficient performance, it also supports LED MR-16 lamps within a 9–17V voltage range.

Prewired with a 3-foot 18-2 SPT2-W direct burial cord, the fixture allows straightforward installation. Optional connectors, including the CX-839 universal connector or CX-854 silicone-filled wire nut, are available separately for weatherproof wiring solutions.

Designed for direct burial or concrete encasement, the Hooded Well Light requires a remote 12V transformer (sold separately) for operation.
