Lighting designers, installers, and facility managers can manually adjust these outer wing modules to preset mechanical stops at 45°, 90°, and 135° (factory set at 0°). This field flexibility makes it easy to sculpt customized light distribution patterns on the fly, whether flooding wide open logistics grids or channeling tightly focused light paths down narrow warehouse aisles.

The ES4 high bay is built around a heavy-duty, industrial-grade core featuring premium extruded aluminum heat sinks paired with an advanced driver compartment. To eliminate localized hot spots and maximize efficiency, the high-performance LED boards are secured to the heat sink using a high-conductivity thermal adhesive instead of standard mechanical screws. This design choice decreases LED junction temperatures and ensures exceptional lumen maintenance. The electrical foundation uses durable FR4 PCBs engineered to match the coefficient of thermal expansion between the individual LEDs and the board, significantly reducing thermal strain on solder joints during rapid power cycles. Built for ultimate accessibility, the integrated wireway cover features a captured, heavy-duty hinge that opens over 120° for hands-free wiring access during rough-in installation.

Engineered to perform in severe physical environments, the Essentials Series 4.0 withstands constant operating temperatures from a freezing -40°F up to an industry-leading 149°F (65°C). It handles universal standard utility power lines across 120-277V or heavy-duty high-voltage feeds at 347-480V (50/60Hz) with an exceptional power factor rating of up to 0.99. The high bay delivers standard 0-10V continuous dimming-to-off automation and comes well-protected with a baseline 6kV surge suppression network (automatically upgraded to 10kV on all high-voltage configurations). For critical facility safety, it supports dual factory-installed emergency battery backups (EMB and EMB2) that deliver up to 3600 initial lumens for a minimum of 90 minutes during unexpected power failures.
