It is engineered for industrial facilities, parking garages, outdoor commercial perimeters, transit stations, and washdown areas.

Constructed from impact-resistant, UV-stabilized polycarbonate, the housing protects internal components against weather and physical wear. The emergency lighting assembly features two fully adjustable ultra-bright white LED lamp heads (containing three 1.2W LEDs per head), delivering superior center-to-center illumination coverage along egress routes during primary power failures.

Operating on a dual-voltage 120/277V AC input, the system incorporates a 6V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) battery and a fully automatic two-rate solid-state charger. An internal transfer switch automatically connects battery power to both the exit sign and emergency heads upon loss of utility power for a minimum of 90 minutes. System status is monitored via a unique bi-color LED indicator light (Green for normal operation, Red to alert occupants to check the battery). Mounting is fast and adaptable using the included die-cast aluminum canopy for top or end mounting, or the universal knockout pattern on the backplate for direct wall installation.
