The Adjustable Hooded Well Light is a durable in-ground outdoor lighting fixture designed for precise directional lighting with added glare control. Constructed from aluminum, composite, or natural brass and available in black or natural brass finishes, this fixture provides a clean, professional appearance while enhancing landscape and architectural features.
The hooded design minimizes glare and directs light effectively, making it ideal for illuminating trees, pathways, facades, and garden accents. The fixture is housed inside a reversible PVC sleeve (flat or angled cut) that supports in-ground installation. The adjustable internal mechanism allows for flexible light aiming, ensuring precise illumination.
It features a clear, tempered, heat-resistant glass lens with a silicone gasket for weatherproof performance. A high-quality ceramic bi-pin socket with retention clip securely holds the lamp.
The Adjustable Hooded Well Light is compatible with 12V MR-16 lamps up to 50W (halogen) and supports LED MR-16 lamps with a 9–17V operating range. Prewired with a 3-foot 18-2 SPT2-W direct burial cord, installation is simple and reliable. Optional connectors such as the CX-839 universal connector or CX-854 silicone-filled wire nut are available separately for secure wiring.
Designed for direct burial or concrete encasement with the included PVC sleeve, this fixture requires a remote 12V transformer (sold separately).
