The ENERLITES HMVS 180° PIR Vacancy Motion Sensor Wall Switch is a reliable, energy-efficient lighting control solution designed for manual-ON / auto-OFF operation. Using advanced Passive Infrared (PIR) technology, this vacancy-only sensor detects motion based on heat signatures to ensure accurate performance while eliminating false activations.
Featuring a 180° field of view with coverage of up to 700 sq. ft., the HMVS is ideal for private offices, restrooms, classrooms, and other commercial or residential spaces where lights must be turned ON manually to meet energy code requirements. Once activated, the sensor automatically turns lights OFF after no motion is detected within the selected adjustable time delay (15 seconds to 20 minutes).
The switch includes a manual ON/OFF push button for user convenience and a smart LED backlight that illuminates when motion is detected, making the switch easy to locate in dark environments. An LED indicator light also flashes during motion detection to confirm proper operation.
Designed for single-pole applications, the HMVS is compatible with incandescent, fluorescent, and LED lighting and requires a neutral wire for installation. The interchangeable face cover allows for easy color changes to match décor or design requirements.
The ENERLITES HMVS is UL listed, California Title 24, Part 6 compliant (2019), and backed by a 2-year warranty, making it a dependable solution for code-compliant, energy-saving lighting control.
