The ENERLITES HMOS 180° PIR Occupancy/Vacancy Motion Sensor Wall Switch is an energy-efficient lighting control solution designed for residential and commercial applications requiring reliable motion detection and code compliance. Using Passive Infrared (PIR) technology, this sensor detects body heat movement within a 180° field of view, delivering up to 700 sq. ft. of dense coverage for consistent and accurate performance.

The HMOS offers dual operating modes—Occupancy and Vacancy—allowing flexible control based on application requirements. In occupancy mode, lights automatically turn ON when motion is detected and OFF after the selected time delay once the space is unoccupied. In vacancy mode, lights must be turned ON manually using the convenient push button, then automatically turn OFF after inactivity, making it ideal for Title 24–compliant installations.

A fully adjustable time delay from 15 seconds to 20 minutes enables customized energy savings, while the manual ON/OFF push button allows override control at any time. A built-in LED indicator flashes during motion detection for easy setup and verification, and a smart LED backlight activates in vacancy mode to help locate the switch in dark rooms.
