The Aluminum Half-Moon Boxed Step Light is an architectural-grade outdoor lighting fixture designed for safety, durability, and style. With a classic half-moon faceplate, this step light provides soft, glare-free illumination for stairs, pathways, and masonry surfaces, enhancing both residential and commercial outdoor spaces.
Constructed with a durable aluminum faceplate and a white powder-coated steel recessed mount box, the fixture ensures long-term performance in tough outdoor environments. Available in Black, Bronze, Rust, and White finishes, it complements a wide range of exterior designs.
The high-impact white polycarbonate lens is securely sealed to the faceplate, diffusing light while protecting the lamp. A top-grade fixed S.C. Bayonet socket supports 12V SCB lamps up to 27W max (lamp not included), with the option to use energy-efficient LED alternatives.
For ease of installation, the step light comes prewired with a 12-inch direct burial cord. Optional CX-839 universal connectors or CX-854 silicone-filled wire nuts are available separately for secure wiring. The recessed back box with three ½" NPT inlets allows versatile conduit entry, making it ideal for installation in concrete, brick, or other masonry surfaces.
Operating within a 9–17V range with LED lamps, the fixture requires a remote 12V transformer (sold separately). Backed by a 5-year warranty on housing, this step light is a reliable, stylish, and long-lasting choice for architectural outdoor lighting.
