The fixture features a clear, heat-resistant tempered convex glass lens for crisp, focused light dispersion. An additional flat lens (CX-330-CL) is included, which is drive-over rated for up to 1,100 lbs, making this well light suitable for pathways, driveways, or areas with occasional vehicle traffic. The pre-installed convex lens is not drive-over rated, offering flexibility depending on application.

Inside, a top-quality ceramic bi-pin socket with retention clip supports 12V MR16 lamps up to 50W (halogen or LED). The fixture is prewired with a 3-foot 18-2 SPT2-W direct burial cord, ensuring ease of installation for both direct burial or concrete encasement mounting.

Engineered for performance, the unit operates on a 9–17V range with LED lamps and requires a remote 12V transformer (sold separately). Compatible connectors, including CX-839 and CX-854, are available for seamless wiring solutions.
