The Enerlites MDC-50V is a commercial grade line voltage occupancy ceiling sensor that combines passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies for precise motion detection and energy efficiency. Its dual-technology design provides comprehensive coverage, making it ideal for offices, classrooms, warehouses, and other commercial spaces.

Featuring a 360° Fresnel lens, the MDC-50V delivers up to 1600 sq.ft. of PIR coverage and 1000 sq.ft. of ultrasonic coverage, ensuring reliable occupancy detection throughout the space. The sensor automatically turns lights ON when motion is detected and OFF after no motion is detected for a pre-selected time delay. Ambient light sensing prevents lights from turning on when natural light is sufficient, helping to maximize energy savings.

The adjustable time delay and light level settings make customization simple, and the “walk-through” sensing mode further enhances energy efficiency by turning lights off shortly after momentary occupancy. The sensor is compatible with both LED and fluorescent lighting, and an LED indicator light confirms active motion detection.
