The Enerlites MDC-50L is a commercial grade low-voltage occupancy ceiling sensor designed for precise lighting control and maximum energy efficiency. Combining passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies, this dual-technology sensor delivers reliable motion detection across a 360° field of view, making it ideal for offices, classrooms, warehouses, and other commercial spaces.

The sensor provides up to 1600 sq.ft. of PIR coverage and 1000 sq.ft. of ultrasonic coverage, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of your environment. The MDC-50L automatically turns lights ON when motion is detected and OFF after a pre-selected time delay. Its ambient light sensing prevents lights from activating when natural daylight is sufficient, helping to maximize energy savings.

This sensor supports 0-10V dimming daylight harvesting for a single zone and is compatible with incandescent, CFL, LED, and dimmable lighting. For optional vacancy mode and manual ON/OFF operation, it works with the Enerlites 91245 momentary switch. Note that a MPP-24 power pack supply is required for operation. Additional features include adjustable delayed-OFF times from 5 seconds in test mode to 30 minutes, audible and visible alerts, and a LED indicator light to verify active motion detection. Compliant with ASHRAE 90.1 and California Title 24, Part 6, the MDC-50L provides commercial-grade reliability with advanced energy savings.
