The Elite Series offers devices in stylish colors and unique finishes to add a luxurious touch to residential applications. The Elite Series 61501-TR is a 15 Amp, tamper-resistant decorator receptacle designed for residential use. In compliance with 2017 NEC Article 406.12, this device includes tamper-resistant outlets, which feature internal shutters that prevent the insertion of foreign objects into the receptacle. Self-grounding tamper-resistant receptacles are made of high-impact resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic for long service life. The shallow body design is for maximum wiring, with backstab or side options. These residential grade receptacles are suitable for use in homes, apartments and condominiums. They are also applicable for commercial use in corporate buildings, hotels, restaurants and locations that only require a 15 Amp outlet.
