AC Powered ionization smoke alarm for the hearing impaired. Meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A super-bright xenon strobe flashes when the alarm sounds to help alert hearing impaired residents. Saves contractors installation time and money compared to other manufacturers' alarms which required a separate alarm, relay and strobe. Can be interconnected with up to 12 additional BRK and First Alert smoke alarms and 6 compatible devices such as heat alarms, bells, repeaters or switches. Meets UL217.
